Swiss And Turkey Bacon Stratas

This delicious dish will keep you immune to the midmorning munchies.

Ingredients

Serves: Prep:  25min |Cook: 45min |Total: 1hr 30min
              

Directions

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and coat with cooking spray. Add the onion and bell peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 , or until the vegetables are almost tender. Stir in the bacon and cook for 2 minutes longer. Remove from the heat and stir in the bread cubes.

Coat a 7" x 11" baking dish or four 2-cup casserole dishes with cooking spray and set on a baking sheet. Spoon the vegetable mixture into the baking dish or casserole cups, dividing evenly. Sprinkle on the cheese, dividing evenly.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg whites, milk, mustard, and black pepper. Ladle into the baking dish or casserole cups, dividing evenly. Let stand for at least 20 minutes, or cover and refrigerate for up to 12 hours.
4.
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Bake the stratas for 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes and serve hot.
