When the vegetable is this zesty, there's no need for a fussy protein main course. A simple pangrilled chicken breast with a splash of lemon is the perfect companion. Pass red-pepper flakes at the table.

In a large skillet, warm the oil over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli and garlic. Stir to coat with the oil. Cover and cook for 2 minutes, or until the broccoli is bright green. Add the tomatoes (with juice), raisins, and salt. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes, or until the broccoli is crisp-tender.
