Ravioli With Lemon- Chive Sauce

Photo: Rodale Images Rodale Inc.
Bursting with fresh lemon and chive flavors, this sauce is lovely atop tender ravioli.

Ingredients

Serves: Prep:  0min |Cook: 16min |Total: 20min

Directions

1.
Prepare the ravioli according to package directions.
2.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the shallot and cook for 3 minutes, or until soft. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the milk, sour cream, chives, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of the lemon peel and cook for 2 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
3.
Divide the ravioli among 4 plates. Spoon the sauce over each serving and top with the cheese and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel.
Recipe Notes
For a change of pace, explore the many flavors of refrigerated fresh ravioli available these days. Try such varieties as four cheese, sausage, and even sundried tomato. All will taste great with this sauce.

While this recipe sounds delicious, the picture used is exactly the same picture used to illustrate a totally different recipe, "Cheese Ravioli with Rosemary and Lemon," in Prevention's Quick and Healthy Cooking recipe booklet. Which recipe does this picture actually represent, and does Prevention typically use the same picture to represent different recipes?
