Orange- Glazed Ham

Photo: John Kernick
A real crowd-pleaser! If you have a larger ham, just multiply the glaze. For a 15-pounder, double the glaze and bake the ham for 3 hours, glazing after 2. You can't go wrong, as long as the ham is heated through and the top is nice and dark and crackling crisp.

Directions

1.
HEAT oven to 350 degrees F.
2.
PUT ham in roasting pan, fat side up. Score diamonds on the fat side of the ham and put a clove in the center of each one.
3.
BAKE on bottom rack of oven about 1 hour.
4.
MIX marmalade, sugar, and mustard together in bowl. Remove ham from oven and coat with glaze.
5.
COOK ham about 1 hour longer or until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F, glazing it twice.
6.
REMOVE ham from oven and let stand 30 minutes.

I made this for Easter Sunday and it was hit. I used a lower sodium ham and everyone raved over the orange glaze.
