Apricot Chicken

You can also make this recipe using boneless, skinless chicken breast halves. Just reduce the baking time to 30 minutes, or until a thermometer inserted in the thickest portion registers 160°F and the juices run clear.

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a small bowl, combine the apricot preserves, dressing, and soup mix. Place the chicken in a large baking dish or roasting pan. Pour the sauce over the chicken. Bake for 1 hour, basting every 15 minutes, or until a thermometer inserted in the thickest portion registers 180°F (for whole chicken) or 170°F (for bone-in breasts) and the juices run clear.

Excellent....no exactly a diet dish.. I cover with aluminum foil and bake for at least 15minutes then remove to crisp...

I used to make this years ago with thousand island dressing. i'm going to try this one now...sooo good

Another horrible unhealthy recipe!! WAY too much fat, sodium, carbs & sugars, plus all the MSG & chemicals in commercial dry onion soup mix!
